The Buggy That Boogied Away - Review

The Buggy That Boogied Away
By
Betsy B. Lee

Ms. Lee has published a book that addresses how children learn by repetition. “The Buggy That Boogied Away” is full of charm, colorful illustrations and a story rich in remembering a time long ago.

Children will learn and understand the use of repetition of words by reading, hearing and singing a song that repeats the story. The use of rhyming patterns and sequencing helps build the children’s reading comprehension and writing skills.

This book is definitely one for the teachers to have in their professional teaching library. Parents will also find this book useful and delightful to either read to their children or have the children read or sing the story to them. All in all, Ms. Lee has penned another great story that is entertaining and educational.
