Percy & the Promise by T.B. Dockter
Ms. Dockter has delivered a winner in the second issue of her Percy Veerance Adventure Series. It is another tale of the people of Yoosa and how they work through problems.
The story instills friendship, community involvement, helping others and learning acceptance of those who do not look or act like everyone else. The many adventures the town goes through helps to portray how people meet those challenges and overcome them.
I highly recommend this book to parents who want wholesome, moral driven stories for their children to read. Ms. Dockter has built a quirky fictional town and people to help children understand our world and how to become the best they can be. My congratulations.
This is a site where I post book reviews. I hope you'll take some time and read them. If you like, you can comment on the review. I hope you'll enjoy yourself while at Grant's Gallery of Book Reviews.
